Romain Virgo Shares New Song in Proposal Video

Romain Virgo (born 24 January 1990) is a singer from Jamaica, specializing in the lovers’ rock style of reggae music and past competitor of local music competition called Rising Stars.

In 2014, he covered Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me”, produced by Nicholas Browne of Lifeline Music. This cover version reigned on charts in numerous Caribbean countries. Virgo grew up in rural Saint Ann, with his cousin Bryan Art (a known lover’s rock and roots reggae artiste) as his musical role model.

2018 saw the release of Romain Virgo’s album ‘Lovesick’. The album landed the number one spot on the Billboard Reggae Albums chart.

‘In This Together’ is the fourth track from the album and it is produced by Donovan Germain of Penthouse Records for VP Records.

The visuals for the above song are doubly special as it is both a music video and proposal video from Virgo to his long-time girlfriend Elizabeth. The beautifully romantic video was directed by Gareth Daley (GD Films).
